The Dark Forces Team (DTH), a name that might seem to come out of a Star Wars trilogy, has recently released HSPL (Hard Secondary Program Loader)/RSPL tools to flash custom ROMs. These tools might not be something that an average person might use, but instead for people who would like to flash their own Windows Phone 7 on their device. As of now, the tools are only available for devices like the HTC Mozart, HTC Surround, the HTC HD7, HTC Spark and HTC 7 Pro. Windowsphonedaily reports that with these new tools, users can back-up their phone's content, add new customization options, as well as make changes to their operating system's behaviour.![HSPL and RSPL]()

These tools, however, are only available for custom ROMs, and it would be a while before some new stuff will be available for download. This is an exciting new development for the Windows Phone 7, and it will be sometime before developers make any additional changes.
