Cheap tablet war hots up with Micromax Funbook Pro for Rs 9,999

Micromax, which has launched a slew of cheap Android based tablets and phones in the Indian market has come out with another Rs 10,000 tablet, powered by Android's Ice Cream Sandwich. The Funbook Pro is a larger iteration of the Rs 6,499 Funbook that it launched a few months ago.

The new tablet has a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. It includes a 1.2Ghz single core processor, 1GB RAM, dual Mali 400 GPU and 8GB internal memory that can be expanded with a microSD card. It also has a front VGA camera for video chats, HDMI output and USB on-the-go support for connecting USB drives and USB 3G dongles.

Like the original Funbook, this tablet comes preloaded with various apps such as YouTube, Text Editor, Adobe PDF, and Flash.

Tech2.com says that the Funbook Pro tablet is now available at Snapdeal.com for Rs. 9,999. On purchase, a user will get a one-year warranty from Micromax, and if they buy the Funbook Pro now, they can also get a Tata Docomo Photon+ Data card.
