AMD APU-powered Xolo Win tablet to launch end of January
After Nvidia, Xolo has now employed an AMD chip for its first Windows tablet.


Xolo to release an AMD-powered Windows tabletThe tablet has a rear camera of 2 MP, a front camera of 1 MP and a rated battery life of up to 7 hours. Being a Windows tablet, it will have all the apps and games that one expects from a PC. The product will hit the stores starting India by the end of this month. Xolo has not announced the price, but we expect it to be somewhere in the Rs 20,000-22,000 range.Xolo’s announcement comes a day after Micromax announced the Canvas LapTab, which dual boots Android and Windows 8. So it looks like the Indian rivals are finally looking at Windows as the next battleground. With the competition Android smartphone market is far from cooling down, a Windows-sized distraction is not exactly the need of the day.
