Atlus’ puzzle game Catherine, which only released in Japan a couple of weeks ago, is going to get an English translation soon, and is slated for a July 26 release in the US. The news was due to be broken by Atlus at the ongoing Game Developers Conference, but Gamestop mistakenly listed the game for pre-order early. The listing has since been taken down, but you can check it out here. This rather fine specimen is headed our way

You still couldn’t call that confirmation though, but what was found next certainly fit that billing. There’s a website up for the game, along with functional Amazon pre-order links. So yeah, the game is indeed getting a localisation and is, at the very least, headed to the US. There’s no info about a European release yet, but I’m hoping we hear something soon because that could mean an Indian release – E-Xpress handles Atlus games in India via Square Enix Europe.

If for some reason you’re not in the know, Catherine is an adult horror puzzle game from the team behind the Persona series of JRPGs. You can check out the trailer below. Fair warning though, it might be a bit NSFW.
