Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 achievements leaked

Achievements can tell you a lot about a game, revealing either certain gameplay elements or plot angles you probably didn’t know even existed. Such is the case with Modern Warfare 3’s achievement list that was leaked by Xbox360achievements.org. The list obviously borders on spoiler territory, so read on at your own risk.

The achievement list seems very similar to older Call of Duty games, where you get a bunch of achievements for completing the game on any difficulty after which you can head back for an additional bunch by tacking the game on ‘Veteran’. The rest of the achievements can be earned through the game’s co-operative Spec-Ops mode, which is kind of like horde only with terrorists instead of bloody thirsty Locusts.

Unfortunately for us multiplayer junkies, there are no versus achievements so if you stabbed ten dudes in a row, you’re just going to have to live with the fact that people may not believe you. The leaked list pertains to achievements for the Xbox360 but they’re pretty much the same across platforms. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 releases this November for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
