Breeze: A palm-sized breathanalyser that checks how tipsy you are

A US-based startup called Breathometer has invented a device that could save you from being nabbed by the police for driving when you are too drunk.Called Breeze, the palm-sized device integrates an electro-chemical fuel cell sensor that claims to deliver accurate results for determining intoxication levels. The device requires you to breathe through an outlet and a connected smartphone will show how drunk you are. It also tells you how long it will take for you to get sober before you can go behind the wheel, which could work as a safe and sterile method to prevent mishaps.The device is controlled by a smartphone app, which includes options to call a radio cab, a designated driver from your list of contacts and locate nearby restaurants or hotels where you can stay until you get a clear head. There's a Get Home Safe feature that gives the ability to book an Uber cab. The device connects with Android and iOS devices via Bluetooth. The iOS app syncs with Healthkit - Apple's health app that comes with iOS 8.Weighing just under 28 grams and measuring 15 millimeters in height, it's small enough to be easily tucked in your shirt pocket or a wallet. Breeze includes a clip accessory, keychain accessory and optional mouthpiece for sharing the device with your friends. The device is available for both iOS and Android cell phones for $100.
