Blaupunkt's recent innovation, the Velocity 2Go is, they claim, the world's first complete active system that combines a stereo speaker and subwoofer in a single enclosure. The image below shows a futuristic looking enclosure that has a number of features too. It accepts all the three power inputs, of a car, home utility or AA batteries.

With the Velocity 2Go, Blaupunkt has created a product that can be used virtually anywhere: as an active subwoofer in the car or at home. The Velocity 2Go is a compact line-powered hi-fi speaker system. Out and about or on holiday, the battery-operated sound machine belts out the tunes in combination with any portable music player. It can even be used in professional environments – at the office or in an auditorium.

Ajay Sahney, Country Head - Car Multimedia (Blaupunkt), India, said, "Velocity 2Go redefines portability and is not only a new product from Blaupunkt but a new concept for consumers. In today's environment characterized by consumers on the move, we believe that Velocity 2Go will find ready acceptance in the country."

The Blaupunkt Velocity 2Go5 and Velocity 2Go6 is available at a retail price of Rs. 24,500 and Rs. 28,500 respectively. The optional QuickOut car dock is available for Rs. 5250/.
