BlackBerry Bold 9790 images leak again, set for November launch

The BlackBerry Bold 9790 is by no means being kept a secret. After an apparent image leak in September, another image has popped up which appears to be an official image of the handset. According to a report by Crackberry, this image comes in the form of a comparison with the older Bold 9700. However, even though this image looks rather genuine, the names appear to be mixed up and the name Bold 9790 isn’t featured at all in the picture. What is written instead is Bold 9780. The handset is not the Bold 9780 as there are indications that the upcoming Bold handset is to feature redesigned keys and an impending November launch.

Official looking comparison

In a related report by BGR regarding the Bold 9790, there are new images of the handset spotted in the wild. This keeps in sync with the earlier suggestion that the new smartphone from the Bold series will feature a different key layout as compared to other Bold handsets. This device is said to feature a 2.4-inch VGA touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 480 along with 8GB of internal storage. Apart from this, there is no other information on the specifications of this handset.

Snapped in the wild again
