A bunch of new details about the upcoming Batman game by Warner Bros. Montreal has popped up. The information was revealed in a number of different publications. Since the game, titled Batman: Arkham Origins, will be featuring a younger Batman, he won't be as adept at what he does as the Batman from the previous Batman: Arkham games.

Senior Producer Ben Mattes tells GameMasters UK, "The Batman of Arkham City is Batman 5.0. He will punch out a guy without looking at him knowing exactly how many teeth he’s just fractured just from the feeling from his knuckles. Our Batman is version 0.9."

The boss fights will be much more varied this time. Every boss is set to be a new experience altogether. This was the major complaint that Batman: Arkham Asylum received, but was somewhat remedied in the sequel Arkham City. The boss fights in Arkham Origins are said to be modelled after the Freeze boss fight from Arkham City, which is widely regarded as the best boss fight in the game.Y U No like PC gamers Rocksteady?

Batman 5.0

Batman as a character is going to be much scarier than his previous game incarnations. Enemies will be scared of him and will contemplate whether he is even a human. Needless to say this can be used in gameplay by scaring thugs.

According to Videogamer, since this is a young Batman, he will be impulsive and overconfident, since he is yet to encounter an opponent that can go toe to toe with him. He also won't be the crazy prepared incarnation of Batman that we saw in the previous games. The events of the game will alter his psyche and change him to the realistic and stoic Batman of the previous Arkham games.

There will be new side-missions. Assassins are involved and not all of them are for the main plot. A lot of the side missions will also be multi-part, as dealing with an assassin in one mission doesn't mean that they may not come back for revenge.

Writer Paul Dini won’t be returning for this instalment. In his stead, the game will be written by Corey May and Dooma Wendschuh, who have previously worked on games like Army of Two, Prince of Persia and Assassin's Creed. The game’s story will be based off of the Legends of the Dark Knight comic series. Batman’s voice actor will also be different this time around, as Kevin Conroy will not be reprising his role.

The game is set to release on the PC, Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on October 25.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
