ASUS Delivers the ROG Experience

The range includes three motherboards, a gaming headset, and a 3D 27-inch display

ASUS announced enhancements for its Republic of Gamers (ROG) range. The ROG range, as it is also known as was readied with the enthusiastic gamer in mind, about five years ago. The new range that ASUS has brought to the fore includes – three new ROG motherboards, VULCAN ANC – a gaming headset and a 3D 27–inch display designed specifically for gaming.The Vulcan headset

ASUS introduced three new motherboards in the ROG range, these include – Maximus IV GENE-Z, Maximus IV Extreme-Z and Crosshair V Formula. The Maximus IV GENE-Z and Maximus IV Extreme-Z are powered by the new Intel Z68 chipset, which ASUS claims fulfills their promise of delivering unmatchable gaming and overclocking features. The Crosshair V Formula, on the other hand is packed with AMD’s first 990FX-based motherboard with support for both 3-Way SLI and CrossFire X, also including a graphical UEFI BIOS. Wrapping up the gaming experience is the Vulcan gaming headset, which ASUS claims comes bundled with active noise-canceling technology.

The display at 27-inches has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the average gamer.
