Asus announces the ZenFone Live for live video broadcasters priced at Rs 9,999

Asus had a slow start this year but today the company has announced a new smartphone in India called the ZenFone Live. The smartphone is priced at Rs 9,999 and as the name suggests, it has been made keeping in mind live video streaming.The smartphone comes with a built-in app called BeautyLive that is said to make live videos look better. The app can use the front or the back camera and is designed to apply the same beauty filters as one would find in most selfie focused smartphones, on a live video stream. The BeautyLive feature can also use the phone’s microphones to detect and remove any background noise while making live videos.As for the cameras, there is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera. The front camera features larger 1.4μm pixels to capture light efficiently, an 82-degree wide angle lens and a soft light LED flash.The core specs of the smartphone include a 5-inch HD IPS display with a bluelight filter feature, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor , 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It supports 4G LTE along with dual-SIM card slot, and features a 2,650mAh battery.
