Assassin's Creed: Origins out for pre-order in India; set to hit stores on 27 October

Ubisoft’s popular gaming franchise, Assassin's Creed is set for a comeback on 27 October 2017. The upcoming part of the franchise, Assassin's Creed: Origins is now available for pre-order in India. The game was unveiled at E3 2017 last month along with a number of gameplay videos of the latest game in the series.E-Xpress Interactive, the official distributors of Ubisoft games in India confirmed that gamers can now pre-order both the Standard Edition of the game, priced at Rs 3,599 as well as the Deluxe Edition priced at Rs 3,799.As the name suggests, Assassin's Creed: Origins takes you to the roots of the Assassin's brotherhood, based in ancient Egypt. Based on the teasers by Ubisoft, gamers will play as the lead character named Bayek and witness as his story unfolds with progress in the game.The Deluxe Edition is set to feature a special artwork as well a world map bundled along with it which comprises of a hand-drawn artistic representation of the world in ancient Egypt, the civilisation where the game is based on. Additional exclusive missions named 'Ambush at Sea' and 'Secrets of the first Pyramids' will also be included as a bonus for the players.[caption id="attachment_391528" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Image: Ubisoft[/caption]The deluxe edition also features a 'Desert Cobra pack' unlocking an exclusive outfit, a special horse, the "Eye of Apep" which Ubisoft claims to be a "legendary blunt weapon" and the official soundtrack of the game. The game will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC all at once in October.
