However, the report claims that even if the cellular connectivity would have succeeded to be a part of the Watch 2, it apparently wouldn't have come until later December.The feature affects the battery life, causing quick drain. So, the company is now looking for low-power cellular chips for the future devices. While there may be no cellular connectivity coming this year, but that doesn't mean there won't be a watch. The upcoming watch to be released along side iPhone 7 and is expected to come with GPS and improved health-related features.Over the years, we have seen Apple decide trends. And, Watch with in-built cellular connectivity, without being connected to an iPhone, could make for a great standalone product. People were expecting a next-gen device with a more powerful processor and the eSIM reports floating around would vouch for cellular SIM support. However, looks like, users will have now have to wait.
