After months of speculations, rumours and mock-ups, Apple has officially raised the curtains on the next generation handset, the iPhone 4S at a small theatre on their Apple campus which usually holds employee events. When the giant Apple logo appeared on the screen everyone was ready in anticipation for probably the biggest handset announcement this year. Tim Cook was the focus of everyone’s attention when he said hardware and software combine for a ‘powerful yet simple integrated experience.’

Here’s a quick look at what the ‘best iPhone ever’ - the iPhone 4S offers

The iPhone 4S is available in both while and black colour options from the date it is launched that is from the 14th of October 2011 in the US, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany, and Japan. Over 70 countries and more than 100 carriers will receive the iPhone 4S before the end of this year. The iPhone 4S will be available for a suggested retail price of $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model and $399 for the new 64GB model.
