Apple iPhone 4S gets priced at $649, roughly Rs. 30,565

For those not wanting to buy a carrier-locked iPhone there’s pricing available for you to decide whether the latest phone is worth the plunge or not. According to Apple’s official website, the iPhone 4S will start selling at CA$649. Yes, that’s just the Canadian version of the pricing but a simple conversion will get you to roughly an estimate of the minimum the price can be for Indian markets.

Around a minimum of 35K for an upgraded iPhone 4, the 4S?

So, that’s Rs. 30,565 for Indian shores. Again, that’s just the bare minimum it should be, and in all likelihood, a few thousands will be added over to that price. Naturally, starting at $649 indicates that the pricing will be for the 16GB version. The 32 and 64 GB versions will be priced at $100 and $200 more respectively. So, the 32GB one will cost around Rs. 35,290 and the 64GB one will cost Rs. 40,007. We’ll just remind that these are plain conversion rates and not the final MRP of the product as stated by Apple.
