Apple introduces two-step verification in India

Apple is known to take security measures quite seriously. In one such attempt, it now brings two-step verification for Apple ID accounts to 48 new countries, including India. Take a look at the list of countries now supporting the new two-step verification process:[caption id="attachment_227595" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Two-step verification support here[/caption] Until now, the feature was available only in 11 countries. With this move, the two-step verification for Apple IDs is now available in overall 59 nations. Needless to say, it has been designed to keep hackers at bay and safeguard the Apple ID through a password recovery option. On enabling the two-step verification, Apple will text a temporary passcode to the registered iOS device each time you want to log into Apple’s website to manage your account, make iTunes Store purchase from a new device and so on. To enable the two-step verification option, users need to head to account settings online.
