The iPhone 8 is likely to support 4K recording at 60 fps on both the front and rear cameras, according to code for the HomePod firmware. There is also a SmartCam feature for facial recognition to authorise access to the device, instead of a fingerprint scanner. However, although the code has indicated at certain capabilities in the past, not all of them have made it to the subsequent device launches. With Inputs from IANS
