Antec unleashes budget 'Red Beast' BP300P power supply in India

Antec Inc., the global leader in high-performance computer components has announced the launch of BP300P power supply. Nicknamed as “The Red Beast”, this PSU guarantees 300 watts of Continuous Power that delivers up to 80 percent maximum efficiency, which would help the end users save on their electricity bills. This mainstream solution promises quality performance, which ensures value along with ease-of-use. Thermal Manager, Antec’s advanced low voltage fan controller for optimal heat and noise management, runs the 120mm high-quality fan whisper-quiet. This product comes with a 2-year warranty and is expected to retail at approximately Rs. 2,350, however the actual cost may vary slightly on the lower side. It will be available in the market through Antec’s local distributor, Devraj Computers.

The BP300P uses heavy-duty capacitors to ensure high DC stability and regulation. Maximizing convenience during installation, the BP300P power supply offers Antec’s CircuitShield, a full suite of industrial grade protections. Apart from regular home use, it is also designed to position itself in the mainstream server environments, ideally suitable for general graphic designing work, architects etc., where it can power up most 4-pin CPUs and 6-pin PCIE graphic cards.
