Anonymous social app Secret gets major redesign in latest update

Anonymous chat app Secret has just received a major design overhaul and a new set of features in its latest update.The anonymous messaging app now has a colourful new logo and a completely redesigned user interface. The update has taken away the ability to "heart" a post by swiping right. Instead, there's a tiny heart-symbol on the left, which you can tap on if you like a post. The font size is much smaller now, which makes the app look quite text-heavy.The new interface separates 'New' and 'Best' posts from those who are nearby. In addition, there's a separate 'Friends' section which shows you posts by the people you know. You can now invite friends from not just your Facebook account, but also contacts from your phone, Twitter, LinkedIn, Whatsapp and email. It also says that it's "secretly" on Snapchat.You can also share your thoughts anonymously with your office colleagues, too. This separate section brings together all the posts shared by your coworkers. To join a work group, you'll need to sign up with your company email and verify your phone number.The private chat feature makes it more like other anonymous chat apps in the app store such as Confess and Yik Yak. This lets you chat anonymously with any random Secret user. You can chat with multiple users, but messages disappear if they remain idle for too long.
