As we approach closer to the launch of the Google flagship phones this year, there are speculations floating online about two new devices which will sport the newest operating system from the search giant. Both the speculated devices are expected to run an Android and Chrome OS hybrid OS called Andromeda.https://twitter.com/evleaks/status/772894822193623040According to 9to5 Google, there will be a Huawei-made Nexus-branded tablet that will be released by Google which will sport the Andromeda OS. This is in line with the tweet from Evan Blass earlier this month about a 7-inch tablet with 4GB RAM which would be released before the end of the year. Another thing that adds gravitas to the matter is the spotting of trademark filings for a product named Huawei 7PThe report further states that while Google is testing Andromeda OS on the Nexus 9 tablet, it will not be officially released on the Nexus 9.Andromeda OS is being speculated as the next generation operating system which will be an amalgamation of the Android OS and the Chrome OS. Andromeda OS based products will not be branded as Chromebooks according to Android Police. Also the Andromeda OS is working towards merging Chrome features into Android OS and not vice versa. The second device being speculated is the Pixel 3 hybrid laptop which will be released by Q3 2017. Internally called the Bison project, the Pixel 3 laptop will be Google's first laptop which brings together the Google Pixel team, Android OS and Chrome OS teams. The Pixel 3 specifications will be a work in progress according to Android Police, but details that have emerged include a 12.3-inch display which Google also wants to work in the tablet mode. It will be powered by either an Intel Core m5 or Core i5 processors with either 32GB or 128GB of storage, 8GB or 16GB of RAM. There will be finger-print scanners, USB Type C ports, 3.5mm audio jack, stylus support, backlit keyboard and glass trackpad that will use haptic feedback and force detection such as the one seen on the MacBook. The Pixel 3 is expected to be under 10mm thickness. The speculated price point starts from $799 when it will eventually launch in Q3 2017.
