Android-based notification badge feature spotted on Chrome OS

A few more Android features will hopefully be seen in the Chrome OS. Google is planning to bring the Android 8.0 Oreo notification badge to all devices (mostly Chromebooks) sporting the Chrome OS. Image; Google[/caption]According to a report on Chrome Story, the notification badge features found on Android 8.0 Oreo has been spotted hidden in the codes of the Chrome OS. The notification badge spotted in the OS has been mentioned as "notification indicator" by Google. The feature is expected to enable notifications to pop up after pressing an app. Long pressing on the app icon will show the list of new notification of the app. The notification badge found on the Chrome OS might feature on the top right corner of the app image.The new feature is expected to work on both the Android and Chrome apps available on the OS.Google recently released an update for the smooth running of Android apps in the background of the OS. Google brought Android apps on Chromebooks to make it more useful to the users. Previously, users were short of choices with the limited apps on the Chrome OS. After the introduction of Android apps on the OS, they can use various Android apps that also help them in streaming online content on the Chrome OS.
