Airtel's Group Call: 9 People at the Same Time

Airtel has made a new addition to the cellular service feature set and for once, it has nothing to do with being lifetime free incoming or outgoing. Though, it does come pretty close - it's latest ‘Group Call' service lets its subscriber(s) have conference calls with upto 9 people simultaneously and also send the entire group SMSes.While the cost of the Airtel Group Call service is yet unknown, there is a monthly fee of Rs. 99 and a startup cost of Rs. 250, which is required to upgrade your SIM card to a 64k variant that's required by the service. Group SMSes cost only Rs. 2.50 each. As of now, its Karnataka only, but they'll obviously come to the other metros soon enough.
