Also, the customer can make calls to any mobile and landline networks using the phone.Speaking to ET, Rohit Marwha explained, “We are delighted to launch VoLTE and add yet another service to our portfolio enabling customers to make the most of their mobile phones experience on our world class 4G network across Maharashtra and Goa. With VoLTE, customers can now enjoy seamless and high quality voice calls on our robust 4G network.”Recently, Airtel had introduced 4G VoLTE services in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh as well.In other news related to Airtel, the telecom operator announced a 4G Android smartphone for Rs 1,399. The smartphone was manufactured in collaboration with Karbonn. It is called as Karbonn A 40 Indian. Though the phone retails for Rs 2,899, Airtel is providing the phone for Rs 1,399.The phone is a sleek Android smartphone with a touchscreen display. It comes in Blue, Coffee Brown, Black and Champagne colours. It sports a 2 MP rear and a 0.3 MP front camera. The phone has an internal memory of 32 GB. It supports LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
