As we had informed you a few days ago, 3DMark 11 was delayed with no concrete release date in sight. Now it seems that the wait is over, as the popular benchmarking tool is now available for purchase and download.

No longer a sinking ship

3DMark 11 was delayed as Futuremark had to “fix some difficult bugs”. Futuremark President Oliver Baltuch, in a notice to the press said "it might take a day, it might take a week," and that the software would be out as soon as the bugs get fixed.

With all the issues apparently fixed, you can now purchase and download 3DMark 11 from this website. It comes in three flavours - Basic (Free), Advanced ($19.95) and Professional ($995).

For the un-initiated, 3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark, designed to test DirectX 11 hardware - which it does via extensive tests making use of tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.
