3DMark 11 Delayed
No new release date announced.

Futuremark, in a last minute decision, have delayed the release of their benchmarking program 3DMark 11, citing the need to “fix some difficult bugs”. Futuremark President Oliver Baltuch wrote, in a notice to the press, that "it might take a day, it might take a week," but that the software would be out as soon as possible.
The wait continues...
According to Baltuch, the decision to prioritize a bug-free release over a patch with the aim of 3DMark 11 providing accurate, reliable and consistent results from the start. A follow up to 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 06, 3DMark 11 claims to make full use of DirectX 11 and its features like tessellation, thus allowing users to get a taste of the level of detail and quality that’s to be expected from GPUs in the near future. The software had been available for pre-order in three packages – Basic (Free), Advanced ($19.95) and Professional ($995), and was slated for a November 30 release.
While you wait for the software’s release, you can head on over to 3DMark.com and check out the images and videos posted there, or if you really need to DX11 benchmark your GPU, try out the Unigine Heaven benchmark which is available in our Downloads section.
