Futuremark releases 3DMark Time Spy, a DirectX12 Benchmark test

Futuremark has worked with AMD, Intel, Microsoft and NVIDIA to make the Time Spy benchmark for DirectX 12 systems. Time Spy is now a part of the 3DMark benchmark suite, and is available as a free update for owners of 3DMark. Time Spy is designed to fully exploit and test all the features of the DirectX standard. Time Spy features a figure using an augmented reality magnifying glass to explore the past.The addition of Time Spy in the 3DMark Benchmark has increased the price of the product. 3DMark is available for $24.99 (around Rs 1676) at the moment, the price will be bumped to $29.99 (around Rs 2011) after 23 July. Those who already own the 3DMark Advanced Edition will receive the Time Spy benchmark as an update. This optional update costs $9.99 (around Rs 670).There is an introductory offer that allows gamers to get the Time Spy benchmark at a discount. The discounts are only available till 23 July. Users who already own the 3DMark benchmark can update to Time Spy by paying $4.99 (Rs 334) instead of $9.99 (around Rs 670). 3DMark Advanced Edition is discounted by 60 per cent and will be available for $9.99 (around Rs 670) till 23 July. The 3DMark benchmark is used by gamers, publications that review hardware, and technology companies to find out the capabilities of graphic cards.So far, the only other reliable DirectX 12 benchmark has been the in-built benchmark has been Ashes of the Singularity.
