Blizzard Entertainment’s much awaited class-based shooter, Overwatch, is finally out! Get your copy today for the measly price of $59.99 (around Rs 4,000). Overwatch’s open beta got off to a great start when it was announced some weeks ago and fans have been waiting with rabid anticipation since. So what is Overwatch? If you’re a gamer, you’ll already be familiar with the likes of Team Fortress 2 (TF2) and DOTA 2. While not precisely a melding of the two, it would be fair to say that Overwatch is an evolution of games like TF2 with a smattering of DOTA thrown in.Blizzard has had a long history of delivering refined and quality titles and what little time we spent with the beta reinforced that point. Overwatch lets you choose from a roster of 21 heroes and you take one of them into battle in an arena of sorts. Each hero has his/her own specialty and bring their own flair to the battlefield. You have the usual assortment of tanks, healers, snipers and assassins, but it’s the implementation that’s interesting. It’s important to note here that Blizzard has taken great pains to make the game approachable and a lot of fun, which is not very easy to accomplish. The game’s price is indeed very steep, but it’s a side-effect of not having an official Blizzard store in India just yet. The die-hard fans among you must have already bought the game, the rest will have to wait till the price drops a bit (knowing Blizzard, that won’t be anytime soon) or will have to find a way to source the game from China or Taiwan. The system requirements for the game are as follows:
| Minimum Requirements | Recommended Specifications | |
| Operating System | Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack) | Windows® 7 / Windows® 8 / Windows® 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack) |
