Auto Expo 2018: Honda Cars India announces new Amaze alongside new CR-V and tenth generation Civic

Honda Cars India has unveiled the next generation of the Honda Amaze alongside the 5th generation Honda CR-V and the 10th generation Honda Civic at the Auto Expo 2018.

Honda has unveiled the next generation of the Honda Amaze alongside the 5th generation Honda CR-V and the 10th generation Honda Civic at the Auto Expo 2018. The subcompact sedan will be launched later this year in India.[caption id="attachment_4339469" align="alignleft" width="380"]

The New Honda Amaze[/caption]The Honda Amaze comes with the same engine as seen on its previous generation model but the company has made design changes to the car. The car's external looks are inspired by other cars like City and Accord of the company.Honda however, has yet to confirm any details about the new model's specifications.The Honda will supply the Amaze engine from its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan.Next up at the Honda stands was the 5th generation Honda CR-V, which made its first appearance in India here at the Auto Expo 2018.Honda at the event said that the new CR-V will be introduced in the country with a Diesel powertrain alongside the petrol-powered model.The new CR-V features a refreshed and edgy styling with the LED treatment given to both the front and the rear lamps. The front grille now looks more aggressive and completes the package with a sporty-designed alloy wheels. Honda claims that new CR-V is more spacious and comfortable that the outgoing model.

Last but definitely not the least on the Honda stands is aggressive new 10th generation Honda Civic sedan. Honda's longest-running automotive nameplate, the Civic is also Honda's largest selling model globally.[caption id="attachment_4339471" align="alignnone" width="1280"]

The New Honda Amaze[/caption]While the design looks aggressive, Honda pitches the new Civic as a sporty vehicle. The Civic features premium interiors including a spacious cabin and will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options when it arrives in India.
