The Sochi Olympics kicked off with a bang, with the Russian Police Choir stealing the show with a rendition of Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky'.[caption id="attachment_1380199" align="alignleft" width="380"]Screengrab from Youtube Screengrab from Youtube[/caption]The policemen's version included soloists, dancing (painfully awkwardly) and many backup singers.A video of the same police choir singing the same song — reportedly as practice for their big international TV debut — went viral in 2013.The weirdness was made worse by the fact that they also may have gotten the lyrics wrong (did he say “what keeps the planets ringing?”)Dressed in their brown and gold uniforms, many emblazoned with medals, the cops danced to the French duo's electro-pop beats and even bopped along.The all-male choir has previously performed their version of the James Bond song, Skyfall.Watch the performance below:
