Belgium edged out USA 2-1 in a thriller last night to enter the quarterfinals of the World Cup for the first time in 28 years. His resistance was finally broken in extra time when Kevin de Bruyne scored in the 93rd minute and then Romelu Lukaku doubled the lead 12 minutes later.USA pulled one back through Julian Green but then missed a couple of chances which could have taken the game to penalties.
