Chennai: The biggest thrust to Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa’s Lok Sabha campaign will be from a 1965 movie in which she was paired with AIADMK founder and former chief minister MG Ramachandran for the first time - Ayirathil Oruvan. Even today, Ayirathil Oruvan is an example of celluloid grandeur.Political rivals such as the DMDK allege that the release of the movie was a deliberate ploy to circumvent the code of conduct.
