Congress hand behind Kalyan Banerjee's mimicry mania, says BJP as TMC MP remains defiant
Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee once again mimicked Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar and claimed he would continue to do so 'a thousand times'

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday slammed Congress-led opposition alliance I.N.D.I.A and one of its block members Trinamool Congress, whose MP, Kalyan Banerjee, once again mimicked Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar."Kalyan Banerjee said Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar should not complain like a small child to his mother. This shows that he has no regret. Far from apoligising, he is justifying," BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said."Sometimes he is saying it is an art form sometimes he is saying it is his right to go insult those who are sitting on constitutional positions," Poonawalla said.“Far from being apologetic now Kalyan Banerjee says he has fundamental right to insult and mock and mimic Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar who comes from Jat Samaj and is a Kisan Putr and first OBC Vice Presisdent. This shows mindset of INDI alliance," Poonawalla said in a post on X."Abuse Rashtrapati, PM, VP post especially if people from vanchit, shoshit samaj ascend to it. Clearly, this act is being encouraged by Mamata didi and Rahul Gandhi and senior leaders of INDI alliance,” he said.Kalyan Banerjee once again mimicked Dhankar and claimed he would continue to do so "a thousand times".This time not from stairs of Parliament, Banerjee mimicked Dhankar during his address at an event in West Bengal's Serampore."I will keep doing the mimicry. It is an art form. If needed, I will do it a thousand times. I have all the fundamental rights to express my views. You can put me in jail.
