BJP's Naqvi tweets new recruit Sabir Ali is a 'terrorist friend'

BJP vice-president Mukhtar Naqvi today courted controversy when he expressed his annoyance at expelled JD-U leader Sabir Ali joining the party.Naqvi took to Twitter to call Ali a friend of terrorist Indian Mujahideen chief Yasin Bhatkal, who is presently in police custody. He also questioned whether the party would now induct Dawood Ibrahim.[caption id="attachment_145559" align="alignleft" width="380"] Naqvi criticised the new member of the party. Ibnlive image[/caption]Here's what he tweeted:Within minutes of Naqvi tweeting several people had retweeted and replied to him asking if his account had been hacked.This is not the first time that senior leaders of the BJP have expressed their unhappiness with the inclusion of new members in to the party in the run up to the polls.Senior leader Sushma Swaraj's relationship with BS Sriramulu a close aide of jailed mining baron Janardhan Reddy deteriorated after the Reddys were accused of corruption.Swaraj had openly opposed Sriramulu's inclusion into BJP and at the time she had tweeted saying, "I am opposed to the BSR alliance or merger with BJP in Karnataka. I have conveyed to Shri Raj Nath Singhji in writing that BJP must not permit this."Swaraj  also opposed Haryana Congress leader Venod Sharma's entry into BJP's ally in the state Haryana Janhit Congress. The senior leader took to Twitter to express her disdain of the party's decision to include Venod Sharma who is the father of Manu Sharma, convicted in the murder of Jessica Lal.Similar opposition came from within the party when Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik was inducted and resulted in him being unceremoniously ushered out hours later. While Muthalik alleged that it was a conspiracy hatched by the Congress, it was the opposition from within the BJP that led to his quick ousting.
