Beckham will play part in Olympic opening ceremony

David Beckham may not get a chance to play at the Olympics, but he will certainly have a role at the opening ceremony.

Former England football captain David Beckham will play a cameo role in Friday's Olympic opening ceremony after he was left out of Britain's team for the Games.In an interview with CNN on Tuesday the 37-year-old LA Galaxy midfielder said he would play a part in the ceremony but declined to give any details.[caption id="attachment_389942" align="alignleft" width="380"] Beckham hasn't divulged any details on his role at the ceremony.
