She could go on for another 50 years – all she needs is a new set of tyres every now and again,” she said.Mrs T had lost her legs when rats broke into her hutch and gnawed off her legs when she was hibernating. She didn't want to put down her pet tortoise and had spent $1,500 on vet bills before turning to her son Dale for help, according to Huffington Post.Dale, a mechanical engineer, came up with the idea fitting the tortoise with a harness and wheels.
