A leopard broke into a hotel room in Tallital area of Nainital, leaving the occupants of the room in utter shock early Sunday.

Reuters[/caption]According to a report in Hindustan Times, Sumit Rathore and his wife, Sunita, were asleep when the leopard broke the window and seated himself in the bathroom. The couple was left distressed when the leopard made himself at home near the wash basin.Rathore immediately closed the bathroom door, and caught the leopard inside, reported The Times of India.The leopard reportedly ended up in the hotel after being chased by dogs.By the time the forest department team arrived with a cage and tranquiliser gun, the leopard had managed to escape into the forest, Hindustan Times reported.Animals in Nainital seem to love the hotels around them. This incident comes a few weeks after a black Himalayan bear broke the window pane of a hotel room, shocking the guests. The bear swam through the Naini lake and vanished into the jungle.A video of the leopard was caught on camera and has been doing the rounds on the internet. Watch it here:
