Screengrab from video[/caption]However, Gangadhar Tilak Katnam isn't one of us.He made it a point to step up and take things in his hands and for the last 15 years, he has filed over 1125 potholes in Hyderabad using his own pension money, reports Shramadaan.orgIt all started in 2010 when he was driving his Fiat down a Hyderabad road filled with potholes. He witnessed several incidents caused by those roads.In one such accident, a young man lost both his limbs, while a RTC bus and auto collided in another accident, severely injuring the occupants of the auto.Unable to understand how people could be indifferent to something that was so dangerous but could easily be solved, Tilak started filling potholes from 19 January 2010 as a weekend ritual.And, a year later he quit his job at Infotech and took up filling potholes as a full time job.Watch his journey here:
