Kerala magician Samraj wins Merlin award by International Magic society

Kerala-based magician Samraj has been selected for the Merlin award instituted by New York-based International Magicians Society (IMS).Samraj was chosen for the honour in the "scary category", the magician said in a release today.[caption id="attachment_1622439" align="alignleft" width="380"] Image from Samraj's website[/caption]The selection was made by an international jury set up by IMS who evaluated his work in person and also over videos, the release said.The jury evaluated Samraj's magic events like "Tragic end of Titanic", 'The graveyard escape" and "The great Indian rope trick."The award will be presented at a function in Hyderabad on July 20.PTIYou can watch one of his performances here:
