Zero plus zero equals zero: Trinamool Congress slams Suresh Prabhu's Rail Budget 2016

New Delhi: Dismissing the Railway Budget 2016-17 presented in the Lok Sabha on Thursday by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu as a "big zero", the Trinamool Congress said there was "nothing new" in the document.[caption id="attachment_2643304" align="alignleft" width="380"]Suresh Prabhu. Nothing new at all," Trinamool chief national spokesperson Derek O'Brien said in a statement in New Delhi.Referring to Prabhu's move to keep freight rates and passenger fares unchanged, O'Brien said they were increased earlier."Zero plus zero equals zero," he said.Trinamool congress's founder-leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is herself a former railway minister.IANS
