Woah! A new utility vehicle Multix doubles up as a power generator

Eicher Polaris Pvt Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture between Eicher Motors Ltd and Polaris Industries Inc, has launched Multix, India’s first personal utility vehicle in Jaipur on Thursday.

Ever been in a remote location and there's no electricity? Well, now Eicher Polaris has come up with a solution.Not just a car, it can also be used as a power generator. So now if you're stuck without electricity this car is sure to come handy.Multix is India’s first personal utility vehicle and was launched in Jaipur on Thursday. It comes equipped with a power-take-off point, which can generate power of up to 3 KW that can be used for lighting homes and powering professional equipment such as drilling machines, DJ systems and more, reports Hindu Business Line.[caption id="attachment_2301180" align="alignleft" width="380"]Multix. Twitter @PD_Official[/caption]Powered by a reliable diesel engine, Multix will be available in two variants and four colours, starting at a price of Rs. 2,32,850 (ex-showroom Jaipur), According to the Business Standard.But that's not all, Eicher Polaris wants the Multix to make the difference in personal mobility for the independent businessman and his family.The features of the new vehicle include cabin space that can seat five people with luggage, and it can also be adapted to create storage space of 1918 litres.
