New Delhi: Sahara chief Subrata Roy, sent to judicial custody till March 11 by the Supreme Court, ate a single roti with dal as he spent Tuesday night in the Tihar Jail.Roy has been lodged in barrack no. 4 along with two directors of his company - Ashok Roy Choudhary and Ravi Shankar Dubey.[caption id="attachment_1420611" align="alignleft" width="380"] Subrata Roy. AFP.[/caption]Jail officials said Wednesday the three were heard talking till late in the night on the legal battle that lies ahead of them.Roy reached the jail around 8 p.m. Tuesday and was sent for medical examination as part of a normal procedure.The Supreme Court sent Roy and two others to judicial custody till they present a concrete proposal to return the balance of Rs.19,000 crore they collected from investors through optionally fully convertible debentures.IANS
