WBCHSE Class 12th results 2018 declared: Granthan Sengupta from Jalpaiguri Zilla School tops exam with 99.2% marks

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the West Bengal Class 12th examination result today and Granthan Sengupta from Jalpaiguri Zilla School in Jalpaiguri district topped the West Bengal Board Higher Secondary Examination — 2018, reports said.Sengupta scored 496 marks (99.2 percent) out of 500, just four short of the perfect score. He is the first student from Arts stream to top the exam in five years.The West Bengal Board announced the Class 12th examination result 2018 today at 10.30 am on the official website wbresults.nic.in which witnessed an overall pass percentage of 83.75 percent, which was close to the 84 percent passing percentage from last year.[caption id="attachment_4410597" align="alignleft" width="380"] Representational image.
