A knife-wielding man was caught on camera, sneaking into the ladies hostel of the Maharani's Arts, Commerce and Management College for Women in Bengaluru.

Source: ANI[/caption]In the CCTV footage retrieved by the hostel, the man can be seen stealing women's underwear, while walking around clad in lingerie himself.In the clip, the man can be seen entering the hostel premises around midnight, to steal the hostel students' undergarments, while trying to scare them with a knife.The police are yet to identify the individual, who has reportedly been repeating the same pattern, of jumping the hostel wall and sneaking into the laundry section of the hostel, for the last six months.According to a report in Bangalore Mirror, the incident came to light after the Expert Committee on Preventing Sexual Violence against Women and Children visited the college to probe an earlier instance of sexual harassment of a student by a lecturer.The students reported the incident to the committee by showing the CCTV footage of the man, demanding increased security on campus."We had lodged a complaint in the police station and we have also brought it to the notice of our department... they are taking care of the matter. He is a psycho-minded youth, he simply jumps through the wall around midnight. We have CCTV cameras in all the necessary places," the college principal, Dr Shantha Kumari was quoted by Hindustan Times as having told ANI.
