Video shows Babulal Gaur touching woman 'inappropriately'; minister counters charges 'baseless'

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Babulal Gaur was seen on camera touching a woman 'inappropriately' during an event in Bhopal on Thursday. According to the video posted on ANI, the minister apparently touched the woman while she was boarding a bus.However, Gaur was quick to rubbish the claim as baseless allegation. "The place was crowded so I was just asking the women to move fast," he told ANI. Although it appears to be an unintentional mistake, the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister is not new to controversies.In June 2014, over increasing crimes against women in Uttar Pradesh, Gaur was quoted by Reuters as saying, "Rape is sometimes right, sometimes wrong."
