A 40-year-old woman was allegedly bludgeoned to death by her husband for her inability to bear a child at Tandeda village in Muzaffarnagar, UP.

Muzaffarnagar: In a shocking incident, a 40-year-old woman was allegedly bludgeoned to death by her husband for her inability to bear a child at Tandeda village here. Saroj was brutally murdered by her husband Vinod Kumar with the help of his brother at Tandeda village under Bhopa police station area yesterday, police said.[caption id="attachment_2523612" align="alignleft" width="380"]

The body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated, they added. The couple was married for the past 20 years.PTI
