Lucknow: The widow and brother of a slain Uttar Pradesh Police officer were Friday appointed to government jobs, a state government spokesman said.While Parveen Azad, widow of Zia-ul-Haq killed during violence in the state's Pratapgarh district last Saturday, was appointed as officer on special duty (OSD), welfare, Haq's younger brother Sohrab Ali was appointed as constable, welfare, a government spokesman said.[caption id="attachment_653959" align="alignleft" width="380"]Parveen Azad, the wife of the slain UP cop.
