Chennai: A steam pipeline burst in the Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), killing one person and injuring six others, said police sources.
"The accident happened between 10 a.m. and 10.15 a.m. The steam pipeline in unit 7 burst killing chief manager Selvaraj and injuring six others," a police official in Neyveli told IANS .He said three of the injured people were shifted to a hospital in Puducherry and two to a hospital in Chennai. One injured person was admitted to a local hospital.NLC officials were not available for comments.IANS
