Dhanbad (Jharkhand): A local here today issued a summons to yoga guru Baba Ramdev to appear before it on 26 August in connection with SC/ST atrocities charges.First Class Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad, P Chandra while hearing charges against Baba Ramdev prima facie found it correct and directed him to appear on Tuesday.[caption id="attachment_1673499" align="alignleft" width="380"] Yoga guru Ramdev.[/caption]Subal Ravi Das and Babloo Das, residents of Dhanbad district had on 27 April lodged separate cases in the court alleging that Baba Ramdev had humiliated and hurt the sentiments of the community by statements on TV channels and the print media on 26 April that Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's visit to Dalit Basti, was a 'honeymoon and picnic'.PTI
