President to deliver convocation address at Calcutta University

A Rashtrapati Bhavan communique today said the president will deliver the convocation address at University of Calcutta
and visit Institute of Neurosciences in Kolkata on Friday.
On Saturday he would be the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the 150th anniversary of Metropolitan Institution
Later in the day, he will inaugurate the 40th All India Sociological Conference on 'Development, Diversity and Democracy' of Indian Sociological Society at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith in Varanasi.
He will also inaugurate the golden jubilee celebrations of Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya and visit Skills Development Learning Labs at Centurion University of Technology and Management at Bhubaneswar the same day, the communique said.
