Ponty Chadha murder: Two more Namdhari associates arrested

New Delhi: Two more associates of Sukhdev Singh Namdhari, accused in the killing of the Chadha brothers, were arrested from Uttrakhand, a senior police officer said here Thursday."Samarjeet and Jasbeer were arrested Wednesday from Uttrakhand's Bilaspur district on charges of trespassing into the (Chadha's) farmhouse," the officer said.[caption id="attachment_556537" align="alignleft" width="380"] PTI[/caption]Liquor baron Ponty Chadha and his younger brother Hardeep Chadha were killed in a gun battle at their disputed farm house in Chhattarpur area of south Delhi 17 November.Sacked as chairman of the Uttarakhand Minorities Commission after the killings, Namdhari was arrested from his farmhouse in the hill state Nov 23, following charges of trespassing into the farmhouse and shooting down Hardeep.Sachin Tyagi, Namdhari's personnel security officer (PSO) was arrested for his alleged role in the conspiracy that led to the murder of Hardeep.A total of 10 people have been arrested in the case so far.IANS
